The battery-powered MicroFET 2 is an accurate, portable Force Evaluation and Testing (FET) device. It is specifically designed to perform objective, reliable and quantitative muscle measurements. The MicroFET 2 helps with the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders.

A high degree of accuracy is achieved by using advanced digital technology. Voltage meter elements in the transducer respond independently to measure external forces from different angles. This patented system allows the meter to detect even subtle changes in force, regardless of the direction in which the force is applied.

Meter information is displayed on two LCD screens; peak force and run time / seconds. During the test, the peak force screen shows the force applied to the transducer pad and at the end of the test the maximum force that is achieved is visible on the LCD screen. Run time/ seconds displays the elapsed time of the test from the moment the test threshold was exceeded until the test was completed.

Software in English. The microFET (optional) clinical software automatically performs calculations and validity checks, generates tables and graphs from testing data, creates high-impact session and comparison reports, walks the clinician through selected tests or entire protocols, and provides built-in pictures to demonstrate proper gauge and patient positioning. (At this time, the software is compatible with Windows operating systems XP or newer.)
